The world is slowly becoming a global village. From the good old days when campaigns had to be carried out in order to reach a good amount of consumers and inform them of their rights, to the new use of internet to convey the same message must be quite a tremendous improvement. There are consumer protection websites which have been put in place to educate consumers of their rights and how they should not allow others to take advantage of them simply because they are not aware of the law protecting them. The websites have saved those consumers who are usually too busy in their offices to realize any change in the labeling of products or if they have been banned by the government because they are not good for human use and consumption. The protection websites have been licensed and carry a trademark to show so, you should be careful the website you use to get consumer information. Once you find out how the law protects you, it will be much more comfortable to use the products you are sure have been legalized.
