I had a fairly easy pregnancy and didn't have any serious problems. During the first few months of pregnancy I had morning sickness occassionaly and noticed a few mood swings. As my pregnancy progressed my morning sickness stopped and I really didn't have any other bad side effects for the rest of my pregnancy. My back did hurt towards the end of my pregnancy because of all the extra weight I was carrying, though maternity clothes made me feel a bit more comfortable. My feel and ankles were really swollen the last few weeks. Sleeping was uncomfortable for me the last few months of pregnancy since I couldn't sleep on my side or belly. I gained about twenty three pounds during my pregnancy and after I had my baby I lost the baby weight fairly fast. I was induced a few days before my due date so that my husband could be there and my labor went very smoothly. I consider myself very lucky to have had such a smooth pregnancy and delivery. |
